H.E. Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Derei

Executive Director, UAE Fatwa Council

H.E. Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Derei is the Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat in the UAE. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Jurisprudence and Contemporary Issues and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities. Dr. Al Derei emphasises the role of values in individual and societal development.
